Daily Prayer - Order My Day

In the name of the Father, who is my powerful Creator,

and The Son, who is my gracious, merciful Savior, and the Holy Spirit,

who is my wise counselor, deep in my heart, I pray:

Oh, My Jesus, I surrender myself to you.  I surrender to your LOVE. Please order my day. Order my calendar. Order my to do list.  Order my loves, purify my thoughts and motives, and soften my words.  Help me to love well, listen well, serve well, and forgive well this day.  Lead me in love, to love one another earnestly from my heart. Please order this day to Charity for the Glory of God.  AMEN.

For the Son of man also came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45

When he had washed their feet, and taken his garments, and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord; and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you. Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him. If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them. John 13 :12-17

And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27

After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them, and asking them questions; and all who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. Luke 2:46-47

…but all things should be done decently and in order. 1 Corinthians 14:40

I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you, but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord. 1 Corinthians 7:35

…that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in love, to have all the riches of assured understanding and the knowledge of God’s mystery, of Christ, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I say this in order that no one may delude you with beguiling speech. For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ. Colossians 2:2-5
