Our God is Awesome!

For the Lord, the Most High, is awesome, a great king over all the earth. Psalm 47:2
…be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. John 16:33

In prayer, I often ask God to pour out his grace on our adult daughters and help them to find their loves. Find their love of God, of others, of themselves, and maybe even the love of their lives! Sometimes, finding love of self, is the hardest of all. The devil and the world work overtime to tear us down, tell us that we are not good enough, not lovable enough, not whatever enough. The world encourages us to compare ourselves to others, especially on social media. This is a discouragement trap of epic proportions. Don’t fall for it!

Growing up in the ‘70’s the saying, “God doesn’t make junk!” was popularGod is the ultimate creative!  Looking at his awesome natural world, one is humbled, that so great a God also created me, loves me, redeemed me, and wants to spend eternity with me! Let him love you and show you the grandeur of his creations – including you!

Awesome!

How awesome is our God?
He is to be trusted in all things.
His ways are just and pure.
His love is steadfast and true.
His promises are unbreakable.
Our God is good and mighty and powerful and holy.
His creations are beyond imagination.
Awesome in their own right.
If I am creature, then I must be awesome too.
And loveable.
Infinitely.
Eternally.
How awesome is our God?
