I love Jesus. I love Jesus on the cross, in the manger, riding a donkey, in a boat, on a hillside, with a hammer, by a well, on a road, and cooking breakfast by the sea. I love him in the Eucharist, in the confessional, and in Scripture. I love him in nature, in the voices of my family and especially in the quiet of our early morning time together. I love Jesus and his love enlarges my heart and helps me love everyone else with a better love, a humbler love, a sacrificial love, a purer love. Loving Jesus gives me courage and peace, wisdom, hope, and gentleness. I love Jesus and I know He loves me.
